Weavers Holiday Clubs

Warren Weavers Holiday Club is run by and operates from Warren Primary School for 51 weeks of the year only closing the week between Christmas and New Year.

We provide working parents with high quality childcare, in a stimulating environment  where the children are safe and secure, and can play, learn and develop freely.

We cater for children from all local schools between the ages of 3 -11 providing them with a warm welcome, access to a wide range of facilities, activities and play opportunities and a safe departure at the end of the session.

Holiday club operates from 7am – 6.30pm and we offer full day or half day sessions.

All day - 7am-6.30pm at a cost of £26

Half day – 7am-1pm or 1pm-6.30pm at a cost of £13.50

Weavers operates from its own dedicated space within Warren Primary School but still has full use of the wonderful facilities of the school.

The club is organised to provide areas for specific use including role play, small world, construction, a homework table, puzzles and games, painting, and messy play, a well-stocked library and a cosy corner to chill-out in.  We are also fortunate to be able to use the schools large outdoor area for physical activities.

The children are able to self-select the toys that they would like to play with and a programme of additional adult-led cooking and craft activities along with team games is planned in advance.

Our planning is displayed on the notice board in the foyer.

Breakfast is offered each day between 7.15am & 9am.

A snack bar is open mid-morning and mid-afternoon for children who feel peckish, a cooked meal is provided at midday and a high tea is served around 4pm.  Copies of the menus are on display on the notice board and in the club kitchen.

Weavers recognises the importance of healthy eating and a balanced and nutritious diet. Care is taken when buying food and healthy options are always purchased.

Children attending Weavers will have a variety of foods made available to them including meat and vegetarian options, brown bread, plenty of fruit and low fat, low sugar and low salt foods.  Fresh water will be available at all times and fruit juice is offered at snack and meal times.  Specific diets can be catered for providing the relevant information is shared with Weavers in advance.
